Google’s speech recognition technology is amazing and now its on the web. Recently official support for speech input was added to Chrome. Adding x-webkit-speech to an input control causes a microphone to appear on the control. When users press the button they can speak and it will populate the text box. I can’t wait to see what types of things people will be able to do with this. Here is an example of the syntax:

NOTE: You must be using the latest version of Google’s Chrome for this to work!
